Ashtanga for Beginners

Ashtanga beginner class is a vinyasa yoga practice (sychronized breathing and movement) designed as an introduction into this dynamic traditional form of power yoga. In this class the elements of ujjiyi breath, bhandas, vinyasa and dristi are explored to give a sound foundation for this physically demanding but energizing practice. The sun salutations and the standing postures of the primary series will be the main focus for the student enabling progression into the intermediate class.
